Bardia Wildlife Resort rests on the edge of a tranquil tributary of the Karnali river, directly opposite and, only ten minutes’ walk from Bardia National Park’s headquarters.
The many birds that fly over our gardens and the surprise visits from wild animals make our resort feel like part of Bardia National Park itself. Bardia Wildlife Resort prides itself on employing strictly local guides, therefore keeping your experience genuine.
Built to reflect the Tharu style, the bungalows are constructed of timber and clay, with grass roof tops. The ten huts, set among a beautiful garden, are furnished with comfortable single and twin beds, are decorated in traditional Tharu style and have attached bathrooms. The premises feature stone walkways, hammocks and sitting areas where guests can share their jungle adventures.
The round house, which is the heart of the resort, is where you’ll find the Wild Bar and a restaurant that serves delicious Nepali, Tharu and continental dishes.
